There comes a time for everyone, All people young and old. In Autumn when the colored leaves Are dropped and start to fall; The scorching sun of Summertime Is no time to be bold; Buttoned coats and lengthy sleeves Make Winter worst of all. It's none of these that let plants grow And start the cycle new; It's none of these - as you should know - That makes the lonely few; That other time, or season, thing, Where happiness is found...is Spring.

It never ends easy, does it? It never ends the way we want it to. I didn't think that it would end like this, But so you know, I still love you. You said you needed time As the taxi pulled away. The grey light of dawn spread over the countryside, failing to pierce the swathes of mist below. It crept over a country road where two shapes could be seen trudging through the snow, figures distorted by the fog. One was shorter than the other, and seemed to be walking slowly.
